For this month we have settled on Saturday, December 11, at 5 PM.

We will play a conversational game first, and then maybe a board game or two. Scroll down for details. I got some sparkling cider, and we still have two types of beer from the last time. Please come fully vaccinated.

See you soon!

Post scriptum:

  • We had one new amazing person joining us;
  • we played an improvised game asking and answering questions starting with "I always wondered why some people...?" and then switched to ridiculous questions, like from where to grow the third arm;
  • we talked about male porn star bodies, early marriages and long marriages, nude beaches and reptiles, child care, being evil dictators and forcing regulations, places to be chained to for twenty years, polarization in society and difficulty to discuss edgy subjects;
  • I noticed significant differences about word "systemic" in English and German;
  • we listened to parts of a comedy musical (The Book of Mormon), and modern club music, along with folk music from Africa, Middle East, through Spain (Romani), with occasional Paderewski and other Slavs;
  • we had green grapes, black bean hummus with blue corn tortilla chips and red bell peppers, crispy German pretzels with two types of mustard, flax seed crackers, peanut butter crisps, fig bars, dark chocolate almonds, toasted legumes, Brussels sprout puffs (which reminded me of my favorite snack in childhood), kombucha, red wine, beers, concord grape juice, fresh lemonade, and 14-flower infusion.
