My currently more or less active profiles on social networks:

Inactive profiles and reasons for leaving:

  • twitter.com/LenaNechet (following public personalities and organizations - after Mask's takeover and flooding with russian boats and fascist content, I joined the partial exodus to Bluesky);
  • goodreads.com/LenaNechet (current reading, read books, to-read list - I was a librarian here for many years, but after Amazon bought it, I lost interest and moved my data to an independent site);
  • pinterest.com/LenaNechet (favorite art and portraits, now private posts - ads and AI images made the use of the platform annoying);
  • lenanechet@diasp.org (an alternative decentralized network, failed - very few people are there now);
  • facebook.com/LenaNechet (keeping in touch with some friends and acquaintances - I stopped using many years ago after the Cambridge Analytica scandal, before that they destroyed my page and flooded me with payment requests, simultaneously replacing the content of my over 500 international connections with ads; in recent years, I am just disgusted with Meta and removed all my painting from Instagram);
  • meetup.com/members/... (local events and meetings - the management wanted more and more money for groups, more sketchy people, too many date-seeking attendees);
  • wikiart.org/.../favourites (favorite art collection - site bought up and partially vandalized).

GoodReads

My librarian profile on Goodreads.com: goodreads.com/lenanechet

My latest read books with notes and ratings, you can see the updates on this site, in favorites.

Lately, I usually borrow audio books in my local libraries, and listen to them while running, including errands, driving, organizing, and orcharding.
