Handmade works of fine art completed independently are my main concentration. If you like any of my finished works, you can purchase the available original singles and polyptychs (paintings divided into sections).
Original Artworks
Almost all of my fine art paintings and drawings I make by following my original ideas, and sometimes I make custom artwork on commission.
Edges and Frames
Most of my paintings can be exhibited with exposed edges, which does not require framing or matting. They can be framed and presented according to the owner's wish.
Artwork Edges
The edges of my paintings are mostly deckled and some are straight-cut. I paint without leaving any empty surfaces or white borders surrounding the picture. A few millimeters (up to an eighth of an inch) on all ends can be covered without significantly disturbing the composition.
The paintings can be mounted without any frame because their edges appear one with the image. Sometimes I gild the edges with metallic borders: in bronze, golden, or silvery tones, depending on the color palette of the artwork.
Framing and Mounting
I deliver my paintings unframed. For most sizes, standard-size frames can be found. I recommend professional custom mounting and framing according to your needs and setting. It is impossible to predict in which environment my paintings are going to be hanged. I believe appropriate frames can integrate any painting into any interior. I leave this choice to the owner or their decorators and designers. Framing requires a whole set of skills and materials I do not possess.
However, I would recommend using neutrally colored acid-free mounts and frames made from materials with minimal environmental impact. Middle and dark grays bring the most vibrancy to most artworks, in my opinion. On neutrally colored walls, I prefer to hang paintings, especially drawings, just on magnet pins, I can provide a set upon request. The neutral pH is important for the preservation.
I do not use new wooden surfaces or support structures.
