According to the local municipal leader Dmitro Orlov, people of Enerhodar, a city in north-west part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast in Ukraine, flooded the street with Ukrainian flag, unarmed, to not let the enemy military into their city.

Multiple thousands of people in another city in Zaporizhzhia Oblast (county, province), Melitopol, went on the streets unarmed to stop the invaders, according to BBC News Ураїна a doctor from the local hospital, Nadya Drebot (Надія Дребот).
